Healing Proclamations From The Word of God

by Mihran Kulhanjian

Dearly beloved in Christ,

The word proclamation means to “shout out.”  It also means that we agree and confess what we agree forcefully and audibly. The Bible is meant to be confessed by believers.  Confession means “saying the same as.” When we believe the Word of God, we confess the Word of God. To preach the Word is to proclaim it. We speak the truth that God has given us by proclaiming it. We proclaim it because it is truth and we believe it because it is truly the Word of God. God spoke! If we do not believe, then we continue to proclaim it until our faith is unbreakable and we believe.

There is great power in the Word of God which many do not understand. This applies also to professing Christians who are ignorant of God’s Word.  Who are the ignorant?  They are usually the carnal Christian, the lukewarm Christian and the double-minded. Do you fall into these categories?  If so, make a decision now. Repent. Surrender your entire life to Jesus. Receive Him as your Lord. Have faith in God—only believe.

When we speak the Word in faith we release the power of God in us.  There is nothing He has to do—it is what we have to do.  The power which is released from the spoken Word of God is real and authentic. Proclaiming His Word is effective for all of our desires including healing.  God has instructed us what to do and what to expect.  As long as our request are in the will of God, that is, according to His Word, we get what we desire.  And His promise is health to all our flesh when we give attention to His Word (Proverbs 4:20-22).

The Bible is meant to be read aloud.  Let us hear the Word of God regarding His promises for health and healing. We gain faith by hearing the Word (Romans 10:17).

Getting back to the word confess, Jesus said in Matthew: 10:32:

Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.

Let’s proclaim God’s Word which is confession. Let us do this before men and Jesus with confession before our Father in heaven.  In Hebrews 3:1 we are told that Jesus “Is the High Priest or our confession.”

Jesus said in Revelation 3:5:

He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

Jesus will confess the names of those who overcome to His Father and before the angels. What did Paul say in Romans 10:9-10?

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

As we confess Jesus, He confesses us to our Father in heaven.  We confess with belief in our heart. It is with our mouth that confession is made. What is it made unto?  We confess with our mouth or tongue receiving salvation. “Death or life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21).  The tongue’s main purpose is to confess the Word and proclaim (preach) the Word boldly to the nations, to all who have ears to hear.

Choose life by proclaiming the truth, which is the Word of God for health and healing.

Read aloud and repeat the forthcoming personalized proclamations for health and healing. Read and proclaim these proclamations daily until you have memorized your favorites, and have built faith in the Word of God for healing yourself and others. As you read and memorize these proclamations to yourself and to the sick, stand and move, do something physical in faith. You do not need great faith, but “only believe.” It is impossible to please God without faith and faith without works is dead. Take action to prove your faith and disciple to the sick to do the same.

 Jesus commanded: “Lay hands on the sick and they shall recover” (Mark 16:18).  We are commanded to heal and to heal the sick. The devil has no claim on us as we are the children of God (the born again), chosen by God. Recovery sometimes may take hours, days or weeks. It is progressive. So wait on the Lord with faith and patience, and believe—believe only that you are healed, because Jesus already did it two thousand years ago.  Get up and proclaim your healing with action and God’s Word.  True faith motivates.  Have faith in God!  And do not forget what the Lord said about His word from Isaiah 55:11:

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

God’s word is perfect. It is all truth. His Word is a promise and He does not break promises.

Healing Is from God

Sickness and disease is a spiritual problem.  All healing is from God. Doctors do not heal; they administer or manage symptoms. Food does not heal. It can nourish the body for strength temporarily; but health comes from God. Exercise does a body little and only temporarily. God has already completed healing for us.  I am the LORD who heals you” (Exodus 15:26), and “by His stripes you were healed” (1 Peter 2:24).  So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you” (Exodus 23:25). God said He will take sickness away from the midst of us. Sickness will not come near us when we serve the Lord our God. He will also bless our bread and water. You see, He has already done it. It is up to us now to receive it and only believe.

Healing of the mortal body is also temporary—sooner or later we will all die in this world. But God wants your trust in all things including healing. It is not important that we understand this completely; it is important that we trust Him for healing. By the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ we are healed spiritually, emotionally and physically.   Believe!   Ask in the name of Jesus and it is yours. Ask in faith and command sickness and pain to leave your body now in the name of Jesus.  Jesus never prayed for anybody to be healed. He commanded sickness to leave. He spoke to the issue with power and authority.  It is the will of God that we pray. But, Jesus did not pray for the sick; He commanded that they be healed and He also expelled demons, which cause sickness, physical, emotional and mental disorders.  Jesus gave us the authority to heal in His name. Every true believer has this power with God in him, but most do not use it because of ignorance of the word of God.  It is by faith we are healed, as it is by our faith we are saved.

A Prayer for Healing

Our Father in Heaven,

In the name of Jesus, I come before You. I thank You Lord for your promises and faithfulness and I bless your holy name. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, that He was raised from the dead and now is alive with all power and authority given by You, Lord God, over heaven and earth.

In the Lord Jesus you told us to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. So now, my Father, by an act of faith, I lay my hand on ____________________ and say in the name of Jesus that she (he) be healed.  I command in the name of Jesus (name the condition) (example:  cancer in breast to leave now or infection to die now.  State what you desire in the name of Jesus) _______________. Jesus took our infirmities, He bore our sicknesses and by His stripes (His wounds) we were healed. I believe this and by the power and authority given in the name of Jesus of Nazareth be healed now. Amen.

I confess Your Word. Your word does not return void. I believe, I receive and I accept Your Word for healing the sick. I (or person’s name) am (is) healed now. In Jesus’ name it is done. It is finished. In the name of Jesus, I (or person’s name) am (is) healed. Amen.

***

Be confident in your healing. Recovery may take time. Recovery could take minutes, hours, days or weeks. Remain faithfully in God’s Word proclaiming Scriptures daily for healing.  Have faith in God and believe you are healed even when symptoms and pain persist. Do not let negative or ungodly thoughts of sickness and death enter your mind. Have faith is God even when pain seems to persist. It is by your faith and by the grace of your Heavenly Father you are healed. It is by grace you are saved and it is by grace you are healed by your faith. Fill your mind and heart with the Word of God. Believe God and His Word for healing. Do not believe your symptoms. God is truth. Believe and receive the promise of health and peace through Jesus. He came to heal and to save. And He did it. Believe it. Believe you are healed the moment you confess healing. God has heard you and healing is happening now. God is faithful and true to His word. We have been given the power and authority over the devil in the name of Jesus. When you speak things that are not, it is prophesy. We confess in faith believing in the things which we cannot see. This is the faith God wants for us.  Only Believe” Jesus said.  Do not let fear enter your mind when symptoms are still present. Remember, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21).  Jesus spoke what He wanted done and we must speak what we want done. Have faith in God and His Word. He is faithful and His Word is truth for healing ourselves and others.

Do not give in to the lies of the devil. Believe with all your heart that you are healed because Jesus has done it for us. It is finished.

Sample Prayer to Heal Oneself

“I command cancer in (specify) to leave this body now, in the name of Jesus. I rebuke you cancer and I reject you.  I was healed by Jesus’ stripes, by His wounds I was healed and I am healed. I take possession of my body. My body does not have possession over me. My body must listen to me. I command my body, every cell in my body, to be healed in the name of Jesus. I do not respond to my body; it responds to me. Pain, leave now, cancer—in the name of Jesus die and leave this body now. Cancer, you have no right to be in this body and you must go now in the name of Jesus.  I command you to leave now, in the name of Jesus I was healed. Jesus took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses, and by whose stripes I was healed. In Jesus' name I am healed. All corruption in my body, you were not invited in, you are trespassing, and I command you to leave, for I am healed by the atoning death of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. I belong to Jesus and His righteousness is in me and all corruption in his body must leave now. I command you now, cancer in the name of Jesus to come out. Come out. In Jesus’ name.   I am healed!  Amen.

Thank you Lord.  Bless you Lord and Thank you. I praise You Lord of Host for my healing.

Believe every word said. Do not let any unbelief come into your mind. Resist negative thoughts and fear not. Stay in the Word of God.  Do not associate with people who have unbelief. Remove them from the room (remove doctors, nurses, anybody). You have the authority, now take it. Use it. And bring glory to God.  Show your faith by your works. Do not give up. Persist until healing manifests. God wants you well and He wants you to be obedient to His Word.  If you love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15).

Trust in The Lord

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.

--Jeremiah 17:7

In Proverbs 3:5-10 we are told to trust in the Lord:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh,
And strength to your bones.

Honor the Lord with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
10 So your barns will be filled with plenty,
And your vats will overflow with new wine.

When we trust in the Lord and depart from evil He promises us the blessings of health to our flesh and strength to our bones. In verse nine we are commanded to honor the Lord with the first fruits of all our increase. Here He is speaking about tithing. When we give money to God to grow the word of God throughout the world our trust in Him is glorified. We give because God says give.  Notice, that tithing is right after health. It is good for your health to tithe.  Remember, “Lean not on your own understanding” (verse 5), but trust in the Lord. Yield to the Lord “And He shall direct your path.”

Summing Up

Get angry at pain, sickness and any infirmity you have. Speak to the problem as Jesus did. Proclaim the truth on divine healing. Repeat audibly the Word of God regarding healing that your faith may be build up. Pray, asking God to remove your unbelief. And pray for the faith of Jesus. That is, pray to the Father that you have the faith of Jesus. We believe and continue our belief with faith. God wants you well.  Sickness is sin—all sickness. It is contrary to the will of God that anybody is sick. You should have a righteous anger against sickness and pain, because it does not belong in your body. Your body belongs to Jesus Christ and you are the righteousness in Him who has already dealt with sin and sickness through His atoning death on the cross. This is why we preach Christ crucified. It was His body which was broken first that we might be healed in our physical body and by His blood shed for us, for the remission of our sin.  Jesus did it all. There was nothing left out. It is our responsibility as the born again to appropriate what Jesus accomplished for us: our body’s healed (in this life) and our spirit saved (for internal life).

Talk to your sickness and expel it from your body in the name of Jesus. We do not have the power, but Jesus has the power which flows through all true, born again believers. Do this in faith. Believe and receive. Reject, rebuke and resist the devil and his demons and they will flee.  Jesus commanded sickness to leave and it did. Jesus commanded demons to go and they did. He healed all. And you have the power and authority in the name of Jesus to do the same. He gave us an assignment:  Heal the sick. So, do it!  Hold nothing back. Believe only! Do not mix your faith with fear or uncertainty. That is double-mindedness. Believe in God’s Word.  ONLY BELIEVE!”  (Mark 5:36; Luke 8:50).  Apostle Luke was a medical doctor and he confessed Christs’ words “only believe.”  Confession is saying the same as. That is, we believe with our heart and confess the Word of God.

Take charge of your body and mind in the name of Jesus. He has healed me numerous times and will heal you and the ones you love too. Only believe and fill your heart with the Word of God. Speak to your sickness with authority and expel it from your body with faith in Christ, which gives you peace beyond understanding.

We do not deny that sickness exists, but we deny its right to exist in our body.  By His body, Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. And by His stripes we were healed. The devil may put symptoms of sickness and disease on you, but we must realize the devil has no authority to do this unless we accept it. The devil is a liar and a deceiver. He tricks those who do not know or appropriate their authority over the devil and the power of Christ which flows in the born again. Jesus has defeated the devil. He defeated death.  By our belief and trust in what Jesus did for the healing of our body in this life we are healed.  Do not let the symptoms of the devil defeat you. Believe God’s Word on healing, not your symptoms. “Only believe.”  Remain in your belief with faith.  Your symptoms may linger for a time, but only believe.

We have power and authority from Jesus over all sickness and disease. Jesus came to give us life and give it more abundantly. Do not remain ignorant in God’s plan for your healing or the healing of those you love. He destroyed the works of the devil who comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10).  Speak your faith. Trust Jesus. Get to know Him through the word of God and what He did for you in this life and the next. Love Him. Obey Him. And He will fill you with all the blessings and joy He promises.  Healing is yours today when you trust Him and believe what He has already completed for you. You were healed. He took all your infirmities, sicknesses and disease unto Himself. Receive what He did for you.  Believe Jesus and not the lies of the devil. Appropriate your authority over sickness and expel it from your body. “Lay hands on the sick and they shall recover” (Mark 16:18). “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).  Trust in the Lord.  Be committed.  Satan fears a committed Christian.  The problem is, most Christians are not committed.  Will you commit?

Grace, mercy and peace be yours in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ,
