Is Abortion Murder?

Dear Friends,

Every year there are 40 to 50 million abortions, 125,000 unpunished murderers every day.  In the United State 3,000 abortions occur daily. Half of all pregnancies are unintended and 40% of the babies are aborted (murdered). These numbers are from the World Health Organization.

The legalization of abortion in 1973 to 2021 has produced the murder of over 63 million unborn children in the United States.  That's 150 babies per hour; a murder rate of about 1 every 24 seconds.

By the time you finish reading this article, 6 or 7 more innocent lives will be lost. God’s plan for them will be erased.

Do not let fear, selfishness, or pride cloud the truth.  Abortion is murder of the innocent.  Can we remain indifferent to such immense human slaughter?  NO!

 

What Do You Know About Abortion?

  1. Is Abortion a Sin Against a Holy God?

Yes.  God’s sixth commandment of the Moral Law, “You shall not kill [murder]” (Exodus 20:13) is a serious sin against God.  A baby in the womb is God’s creation.  “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart” (Jeremiah 1:5).  Do you not know “Children are a gift from God” (Psalm 127:3).  If God gave you a puppy, would you curse God then kill the puppy?  “Thus says the Lord, who made you and formed you in the womb” (Isaiah 44:2).

“For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.”

‘Your hands have made me and fashioned me,
An intricate unity;
Yet You would destroy me.
9 Remember, I pray, that You have made me like clay.
And will You turn me into dust again?
10 Did You not pour me out like milk,
And curdle me like cheese,

And knit me together with bones and sinews?
12 You have granted me life and favor,
And Your care has preserved my spirit.

 

“In His hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?” (Job 12:10).  In Jeremiah 6:7 God commands us to not take the life of the innocent. And in   Deuteronomy 27:25:  ‘Cursed is the one who takes a bribe to slay an innocent person.”  Doctors, nurses, administrators, every person paid to abort [murder] a baby and is paid for their service is guilty.

 

 

 

 

 

According to the ancient Israelite's a baby in the womb was a person with the same rights as another outside the womb. Exodus 21:22-25 demonstrates this fact: 

“If men fight, and hurt a woman with child, so that she gives birth prematurely, yet no harm follows, he shall surely be punished accordingly as the woman’s husband imposes on him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. 23 But if any harm follows, then you shall give life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.”

 

 After the great flood, God said to Noah:

Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man’s brother I will require the life of man.

“Whoever sheds man’s blood,
By man his blood shall be shed;
For in the image of God
He made man.
 And as for you, be fruitful and multiply;
Bring forth abundantly in the earth
And multiply in it.” (Genesis 9:5-7)

This is a promise that all murderers (abortionists and all complicit in abortion)  God has made. Anyone who "sheds man's blood" (murders) "his blood shall be shed" (death penalty [capital punishment]). For the murderer has murdered the image of God who is in man. God created  the human race. He created the unborn baby. When we murder a baby in the womb we murder the creation God has made and we murder His image.

Furthermore, God says be fruitful and multiply the earth. Multiply the earth does not mean kill the unborn. It means life and life abundantly.

“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death”  (Revelation 21:8; 22:15).  A true Christian knows truth revealed by God’s word.  Abortion is murder.  This is clear.  Human life begins at conception, no exceptions. Who are we to tell God who is fit to live?  God gave us dominion over the animals not over other human beings.  A human being is not an animal.  He has a conscious given by God, animals do not.

 

  1. Does Life Really Start at Conception?

Yes.  Life starts at conception.  This is a fact. All modern medical textbook confirm this. A baby begins to develop (grow) right after conception. The beginning of life is a biological fact at conception and to say otherwise is lunacy.  Living beings come into existence all at once and gradually unfold their world of innate potential. The baby in the womb grows not part by part like a machine would be put together, but all parts, arms, organs, brain, face and so on grow together to form the baby as a living human being.  The baby has a unique, one of a kind DNA that is unrepeatable.  The DNA of a fetus (a little baby) is genetically unique from her mother.  The baby at conception is a separate person altogether.

 

  1. Should a Human Being Protect Innocent Life?

Yes. Life is a precious gift from God Almighty. Only pagans, the ungodly and haters of God abused life and sacrificed babies and children. A fetus (baby in the womb) is completely and absolutely innocent and helpless. She cannot fend for herself. What kind of a society destroys the very thing that propels the growth and reproduction of human beings? Terminating a pregnancy is against all that is natural. The preservation of life is embedded in our conscience as being right.

 

  1. Is Abortion Unsafe?

Yes.  Do you know how many girls and woman die each year from legal abortions? Believe it or not, this information is hard to obtain because organizations such as Planned Parenthood and abortion doctors find ways to not release this information to the public and debased government agencies suppress the statistics.  There is a good reason why this information is unattainable; because if the truth were known, the hundreds of millions of dollars abortion clinics get from the government would be decreased significantly.  There is also a link between abortion and breast cancer.  The Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer reported that 28 out of 37 global studies have connected abortion to breast cancer.

 

“A society that believes premeditated murder of the innocent is justified by calling the baby in the womb as anything but human is a society condemning itself. Murder is not a civil right.  Murder is a grave offense against a Holy God.”

 

  1. Stop The Lies!

The unborn baby's heart starts beating at 24 days and brainwaves can be recorded after 43 days.  If the law uses these factors to determine death, why can't they be used to determine life?  Babies can survive outside the womb at 22 weeks. By 14 weeks, the body of the unborn child is sensitive to pain. The embryo is not a blueprint that becomes a human being, any more than a paper blueprint becomes a house.

 

  1. Murder of the Unborn is Just the Beginning

It started with the legalization of abortion (murder).  Now men marry men and woman can marry woman.  And this is considered a legal marriage?  But not according to natural law and the Bible.  Not according to God, our creator.  God warns us not to worship the creation.  There are consequences to disobedience. Next, you will be able to marry any animal you want—and it will be legal.  We live in a society now that says it’s okay to change your sex. Kids can even change their sex. Perversions abound. Society says be whatever you want to be.  Will we begin to kill off the elderly, the sick or people who are conservative in their views, anybody.  What about starting death camps?  Is this next on the agenda?

Many people support abortion because they believe that the baby in the womb is nothing more than a blob of tissue. This is what atheist, most homosexuals, Satanist and a majority of the ungodly believe.  You will even get professing Christians and Catholics believing that a baby in the womb is not life. Hard to believe isn’t it?  Do not be deceived, there are plenty of non-biblical, false Christians. We know that this is not the case—life begins at conception. And it is an ill-informed response to the facts of biological science of human development.  Satanic blindness is geared up distinguishing between blob of tissue and human life.

An article by Wayne Jackson clarifies this issue from the Bible. We already know that biologically life begins at conception. But what does the Bible say. Two thousand years ago the apostle Luke, who was a medical doctor, explains a baby in the womb as relating to John the Baptist and Christ Jesus.

Luke 1:41 – Baby or Fetus?
When the virgin Mary learned that she was pregnant, and that she would bear the Christ child, she journeyed to the hill country of Judea and sought out her kinswoman, Elizabeth. Elizabeth, of course, was also pregnant with the child who would come to be known as John the Baptizer.
      Luke, the medical doctor (Colossians 4:14) and historian, declares that when Mary greeted Elizabeth, “the babe” (John) leaped in her womb (Luke 1:41; cf. 44). The Greek word here employed by Luke is brephos. It is a term that is used in the Greek New Testament to denote either a pre-born or post-born child.
      Unlike some modern religionists, who support the notion that the entity within the womb is a mere blob of tissue to be disposed of at will, the inspired writers (holy men of God) of the Bible consider the unborn human to be a child in every sense of the word — as much a “baby” as a newborn infant. He or she is not just a fetus; there is a child in the mother’s body.
      The fact is, when Dr. Luke presents the record concerning the birth of Christ, he says the shepherds were told that they would find a “babe” lying in a manger (Luke 2:12). Luke again employs brephos. From the divine viewpoint, the product of human conception is a baby — both before and after birth.
      It is no more justifiable to take the child’s life before its birth than it would be to dispose of it after birth. In either case, the crime is murder. Total Americans killed in all wars:  1,106,007

War on the Unborn Americans murdered 60,000,000 (January 1972-2021). Sixty Million babies murdered. This number incomprehensible. Sixty Million babies murdered in 50 years compared to 1,106,007 Americans who lost their lives in U.S. wars over the last 240 years.  We are a nation of baby killers. We are not “One Nation under God” anymore. We are a perverse, murdering nation.  God has left us as a nation because we have left God. “If you love me keep my commandments” (John 14:15).

What kind of nation have we become supporting mass murder (genocide) of a group of human beings who are silent, voiceless and innocent?  Why do we punish the baby for crimes of the mother and/or father?  Is this just? There can be no justification for punishing the innocent. A baby in the womb is a living human being.  When your day of judgment comes, do you want to be standing in front of Almighty God known as baby killer?   How will you answer to a Holly God?  If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and asked for forgiveness of your horrible transgressions and repented of your sins you will, under your own volition, be caste into the torments of hell were all murderers and all transgressors of God’s law go.

Yes, God is love, but you cannot ignore God’s wrath for the wicked, the baby killers.  For God has given each of us a conscience to know right from wrong.  You know down deep that abortion is wrong. Be honest with yourself, have faith and rely on Jesus to provide you with all that you need.  Trust in Him who gave you life.  For, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;..”—Jeremiah 1:5. Trust all to Jesus and leave the consequences to Him. Your child, a child of God, will not go without.

You and your unborn baby are not an accident. You are beautifully and perfectly created by God.  Remember, God’s way is not our way and our ways are not God’s ways. You and your baby are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Why fearfully?  Because “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7).  Also,  “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10).

 

The Evil Truth about Planned Parenthood

The Truth:

  • Planned Parenthood kills over 3,000 babies every day.
  • Over 95% of the activities of Planned Parenthood involve abortion and abortion related activities.
  • Planned Parenthood is a murdering organization and everyone who sides with them (your state representatives, Congressman, Senators, Presidential candidates, donors and volunteers, etc.) works for them and endorses them is complicit in murdering millions of human beings. “ …that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” –Romans 1:32  (death is Hell)
  • Did you know, in New York City alone, more black babies are murdered through abortion than babies being born?
  • Did you know, Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood was a known racist? She formed the organization to eradicate the black population by aborting black babies.
  • Planned Parenthood uses tactics to dehumanize the baby by calling the baby it or a blob of tissue or a mass of tissue. In fact, the term fetus means little one in Latin and in Greek means small baby. Life begins at conception (recent scientists have proven this), when the baby has its own unique DNA and has a fully functional heart beat at 18 days (only 2 ½ weeks after conception).

Christians and Abortion

Do Not Be Deceived:  Any person calling themselves a Christian and supports abortion is not a Christian; they do not know God and His Word. As Jesus said in Revelations “you are either hot or cold, but lukewarm I will spew you out of my mouth.”   “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven” (Matthew 7:21).  False Christians will not inherit the kingdom of God.  Examine yourself and correct yourself if warranted.  We know that abortion is murder and taking life from the innocent is an abomination against God. And what is against God is the joy of the Devil.  We must love what God loves and hate what God hates.  God hates murder, supporters of murder of the innocent, and all murderers.

My Body My Choice:  It is not about your body it is about a baby.  A baby has no choice? A baby has no right to live?  It is my body, is a selfish, ungodly and ill-informed response.  A baby is not part of your body.  Science has proven that a baby in the womb is a unique person with DNA separate from the mother. A baby in the womb has a functioning brain, eyes to see, nose to smell, fingers and toes formed. A baby is a miracle from God, a blessed gift from a Holy God to bring joy to his or her mother or father.

A Fetus is Not a Person:  The word fetus means little one or little baby in Latin. The fetus is a baby, a living person at conception.  Medical science proves this.  A fetus is a person with all characteristics of a human being. Biologically a fetus is a person.

Life Begins after Birth:  Scientific evidence says life begins at conception so does all Biblical doctrine regarding the definition of a person.  At conception a baby has a unique genetic makeup that is completely different to her mother.  Science tells us that the baby is a separate person.

I’m Personally Pro-Life: You cannot be personally pro-life yet, agree that “I respect the opinions” from others who are pro-abortion.  Either you are pro-life or pro-abortion.  A lukewarm or confused Christian is a fraud according to Christ and will be vomited out of His mouth (Revelations 3:16).  Either you are cold or hot said Jesus.  If you agree and support sin, no matter what sin, you are also guilty and deserve death (Romans 2:32).

Abortion Stops Overpopulation:  There is no such thing as over population.  The earth is filled with vacant land that can support billions of more people and food production. Science proves this.

What about Rape and Incest?  A child conceived by rape or incest is rare, roughly 1 in 1,000 rape or incest cases according to recent numbers. It has been proven that aborting a baby does not diminish the trauma of the victim.  A Godly or civilized society cannot justified itself by punishing the innocent for crimes of the father.

Babies with Fatal Diagnosis and Babies with Disabilities:  Who determines who will be God?  We are creatures not the creator. Only God can play God. Every baby in the womb has a right to see and live life outside the womb. As creatures, who are we to pass a death sentence to an innocent person?  Every innocent person has a right to live. Age has nothing to do with murder.  It is a selfish act to murder a baby with a disability or fatal diagnosis. Does this mean we snuff the life from any senior who may need care-giving assistance because they cannot take care of themselves but need assistance?

Babies Born into Financial Hardships:  Financial hardship is a circumstance that can be changed almost immediately:  get a job, move, have your baby stay with relatives, or offer the baby for adoption.  There are numerous church and government agencies that offer food, housing and money to all people who need it.

Is Abortion a Woman’s Rights Issue?  The killing of an innocent human being has never been considered a human right in any civilized society.  Suffragette, Susan B. Anthony said abortion is “child murder.”  Abortion has nothing to do with the right of a woman. It has everything to do with the life and rights of a child. What about the rights of the father?  Does he not have any rights?

Abortion has nothing to do with women’s rights.  What about the babies rights, the father’s rights, the rights of the grandparents, uncles, aunts, siblings?  The consequence of an abortion affects many.

Abortion is NOT a Political Issue.  It is a Moral Issue of Murder—Right or Wrong?

It is abhorred to think of a professing Christian voting for a candidate that is pro-abortion.  A person calling themselves a Christian and voting for a pro-abortion candidate is a fraud—a false convert who does not know God.  God is holy and does not sanction murder of the innocent.  The sixth Commandment says we shall not murder.  All murderers shall have their part in the lake of fire.

In the article, Thinking Straight about Abortion, Wayne Jackson says it this way:

Each time a significant election draws near, the topic of abortion comes to the forefront, although the issue is rather muted currently.
Apparently it is a theme from which most politicians had rather maintain a safe distance. The feeling is that no one could be elected in this amoral society of ours if he adopted a strict and consistent pro-life position.
Politicians are so “pragmatic.” They argue that it is better to make some gains by compromise, than to make none by a determined pursuit of truth. And so they become slippery – slithering here and there for whatever advantage there is to be had.
     
While it is the case that some political leaders will ostensibly contend for a “pro-life” position, i.e., that an abortion involves the termination of a human life, it is rare to find a public voice that argues a thoroughly congruous case on behalf of the unborn.
     
One aspect of “truth” is its harmony. Truth does not contradict itself. It is not something one day, and something else the following day. It is not a quality required of some but not of others. Truth transcends time, place, and circumstance.
Truth is steadfast and elevating. Truth’s standard is difficult to achieve, because we are so flawed with moral digression. But “truth” is there, glorious and elegant – ever challenging us to meet its demands.
Let us reflect upon some of the irreconcilable postures that plague the abortion controversy.
(1) There are many who oppose “partial-birth” abortions, i.e., the abortion of a fetus that has partially emerged from the birth canal, but they are not opposed to the abortion of a fetus that is still wholly within the uterus.
The physical location is hardly a matter that determines whether or not the fetus is a human person.
(2) Some voice their opposition to a “third trimester” abortion, but not to a “first trimester” termination. But this makes the issue one of “degree,” not “kind.”
While it is true that the infant is more developed in the third trimester than he or she is in the first, it is also the case that a person is more developed at two years old than at two months old. A young man of twenty has greater maturation than a lad of twelve.
Chronology does not alter the fact that a human being is a human being – from the moment of conception onward.
(3) Many who are adverse to abortion in principle would nonetheless make exceptions in instances where the child was conceived as a consequence of rape or incest.
Where is the logic in this? Is the fetus somehow less human because of the circumstances under which it originated? Would we argue than a two-year infant, who was conceived as a result of rape, might be eliminated with moral impunity?
Conception circumstances do not determine the value of one’s life.
(4) It is commonly believed that whereas the abortion of a healthy fetus would be immoral, the elimination of a seriously deformed child is an “act of mercy.”
Is there anyone, aside from the philosophical kinsmen of Adolf Hitler, who would contend for the slaughter of all of society’s incapacitated children? Is a person born with a damaged brain somehow less human that one born with a missing leg?
Have we totally lost the ability to reason?
(5) If the aborting of an innocent baby is the premeditated sacrifice of a human life, why is it that even those who contend for the pro-life position are loath to argue that abortionists – both doctors and mothers alike – should be subject to the same sort of criminal prosecution that we demand of other killers?
(6) Why is it that a woman who gives birth to a baby and stuffs its tiny body into a restroom trash can will be prosecuted, while the “pro-choice” woman, who perpetrates the same vile act in the confines of a sterilized medical facility, is viewed as a caring person who has relieved the world of another unwanted child?
Why is it that the man who kicks his pregnant wife in the stomach, causing her to abort their child, is subject to arrest and prosecution, but the woman who decides for herself to abort the same child, supposedly has the ethical and legal right to dispose of that same child? Is an infant less human because of who murders it?
We have become a nation of illogical fools, unable to think sensibly about the issue of abortion. And what is worse, many seem unable to feel, any longer. Parting Thoughts

When I was a young man, in my twenties, I did not spend much time thinking about abortion, whether it was right or wrong.  I believed at the time it was a personal choice and God was not involved. I was extremely naïve on the subject and I was a lukewarm Christian back then, involved more with business than God.  I did not know God.  When I became born again, many years later, the truth was revealed to me as God promises through the Holy Spirit. Today, the thought of anybody harming a baby in the womb or outside the womb saddens me deeply.  It is hard to not shed a tear when I watch a documentary on abortion.  I cannot imagine the pain that God has for the murdered unborn and those who have turned from Him. What a perverse society we have become when evil is good and good is evil.  Abortion is murder. No one can hide from the truth. God sees and knows all; and the truth is the truth.  Come to Jesus and place your trust in Him. He will show truth to all who come to Him in faith.
