Can You Tell if a Person Has a Demon or Has a Kind of Demon Influence?

Interview with Mihran Kulhanjian

Mihran: Yes, most of the time. Among  unbelievers, I believe it is not difficult under discerning spirits.  Among professing Christians it is revealed once I speak to them, but also certain behavior is evidence of a demon or demonic influence.  I get a good idea of the evil that is in him.  Many believe demons are a big joke, something in the movies. So they don't take it seriously.  Jesus gave us the power in Him and the authority He has given us to cast out demons. Expelling demons is one part of healing. Many believe an individual's personality is formed at birth and it stays with them throughout the life of the person. But we must understand, demons attack and change the personality; they attack the soul--the soul is the personality, the behavior of a person.  Many times demons enter at a very young age in children. If a person is angry all the time or short tempered, people say it's his personality or he is bi-polar. God has not given us unjust anger or short tempers; this is the work of the devil and his demons.  Illnesses of the mind are demonic. God did not give us an unsound mind.

One prominent demon is a demon of rejection. This is associated with depression which is a big problem in our society today, especially among young people.  Instead of giving young people drugs because they are depressed, we should be focused on expelling demons and turning young people to God.  But, as you know most doctors are not Christian. In fact, few are Christian. And many Christians do not understand demons. Jesus tells all of us, all of His disciples, to heal the sick and cast out demons in His name. Casting out demons is part of healing and making someone well. It is sad that many churches do not even want to talk about demons. They take no responsibility in healing anyone. This is got to change and it has to change now.
