In a World Where You Cannot Be Anything, Be a Child of God!
My dear Friends,
I am going to share with you a story. Once upon a time in a land not too far away, there was a woman working in an office wearing a tee-shirt with a message. The shirt was black and pictured on the front of the shirt were many Dr. Seuss cartoon characters celebrated in an array of vibrant colors, similar to rainbow colors. I am unsure regarding the significance of the colors and whether they represent a wicked lifestyle, but suspect they do as we are living in the last of the last days, where perversion accelerates according to Scripture. The writing on the tee-shirt said:
"In a world where you can be anything, be kind."
It is good to be kind and gentle, but it is better to love your neighbor as Jesus commands. If we love, we will naturally be kind, even when kindness is perceived as mean or harsh when it leads to telling the truth. If we love somebody we tell them the truth.
In this world can we be anything? Is this true? Can I be anything? What a wonderful message? Where have I been hiding all my life? Why didn't somebody tell me this sooner? Can we really be anything in this world? Well, you know the answer. Of course not. It is ridicules to suggest such a thing. And using popular cartoon characters, as though the message is targeting children or immature, or perhaps, mentally challenged adults is a perverse message, and it is abhorred, deceptive and a lie. Although, the message stresses kindness, the lead in statement is a lie.
Can a three hundred pound, fifty year old white man be a twelve year old black girl because he believes he can be anything in this world? Hey, I feel like a twelve year old black girl today, therefore I am. He could paint his skin black and put on a dress and cut something off, but that does not make him a twelve year old black girl, does it? It is time to stop believing in the ways of the foolish. "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things" (1 Corinthians 13:11). I also put away childish and perverse thinking and sought the Lord and His righteousness. In His righteousness He reveals truth. There is only one truth "I [Jesus] am the truth" [John 14:6]. In a world where you cannot be anything, be truthful, be lovely, be a child of God, and pray to God that you see the truth in this age of deception.
Let us look at Romans 1:21-22:
because, although they knew [knowing of Him, but did not love, or yield to Him] God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things [and weird cartoon characters]. (Words in brackets are mine not Scripture).
I won't offer my commentary on the aforementioned Scripture, but there are a lot of "grownups" behaving foolishly and believing the lie instead of trusting God and glorifying Him. Everything they do is futile because it is not of God, nor for the love of God, but of corruptible man, with a corrupted mind, spreading the lie and the falsehoods of the world; and believing them, while professing to be wise, and caring, and kind, yet living and doing the work (willingly, knowingly or unknowingly), void of the truth, and representing that which is against God and His righteousness.
This shirt is a lie; yet the person wearing the shirt could not comprehend the lie. A person of the human race cannot be anything. A boy cannot be a girl and a girl cannot be a boy, for starters. A girl (female) has two "X" chromosomes and a boy (male) has one "X" and one "Y" chromosome. God created only two genders, male and female—only two sexes. God does not make people the wrong sex. When God speaks of homosexuality He used the word "lust" to describe this perversion. Lust is a sin. It is not a sickness. It is a choice. Homosexuals have a choice. They choose to lust and live in sin disregarding God, rebelling against Him. defiling their own bodies. Demonic forces are at work in people who believe they are in the wrong body, with the wrong gender. There is no such thing as a gender confusion gene or "gay" gene. It does not exist. There is no scientific evidence that homosexuals are "born that way." They are not unless a demon has entered into the unborn baby while in the womb. Being "gay" has nothing to do with biology, it has to do with ones soul, the personality and an unsound mind, an insane mind, that exchanges the natural for the unnatural, which has been perverted by a demonic source.
In the Bible, God uses the word "exchange" [Romans 1:25-27] which means, they [homosexuals] choose to be homosexuals, having "exchanged the truth of God for the lies" [Romans 1:25]. With the lust of the flesh and the carnality in the person, I believe all homosexuals have a sexual perversion demon or many, yet they have a choice and have chosen to rebel against God. And to many, God will give them up to a reprobate mind. A debased, depraved, or reprobate means they are "past the point of no return." God has given them over to their own lust. They are headed for the lake of fire. God gives every person the knowledge of Him and righteousness, yet the reprobate says over and over, "I want to do it my way. I will do whatever I want." They are "know it all's." Puffed up and filled with pride—pride that sends them straight to hell.
I will mention this again: There is no scientific evidence that homosexuals are "born that way." However, non-scientifically, but spiritually, in the supernatural world, a demon could enter the baby in the womb by unholy acts and thoughts of the mother. There are many accounts of mothers wanting desperately to have a little girl and in desperation go to mediums and fortune tellers (idolatry and witchcraft). When the baby arrives it is a boy that has a demon of sexual perversion. The mother begins to dress the baby boy in girl's clothing. Instead of blue, she dresses the baby boy in pink. She treats the boy as a girl, and if the baby is a girl, she is treated as a boy.
Expanding on Romans 1:18-28, we see God's wrath on unrighteousness:
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
God gives intuitive knowledge to all, but not all will obey the natural course God planed for them. This is why some believe they can be whatever they want to be or live a lifestyle that is unnatural and against God's will. In verse 25, many false and lukewarm Christians change the truth into a lie. Andrew Wommack said it perfectly in his commentary on this Scripture: "The hardest person to reach isn't the one who denies the truth but the one who perverts it." This is why it is much harder to witness to a so-called 'believer" [false Christian], than a nonbeliever. The false Christian has perverted the truth of God's Word, believing the lie and is unwilling to change because of pride. If there is no change in the person then God will leave her or him to their own lusts, giving them up to their own destruction.
If a Christian does not have conviction over their own sins, they are either not being truthful or have given themselves to a reprobate mind. In Leviticus 18:22, 20:13 and in Deuteronomy 23:17-18 God tells us of His anger with homosexuality and those who agree with it. God has abandoned the reprobate. They will not be saved. This is about those (including most homosexuals) who have renounced God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jude 1:6-8 tells us what will happen to the homosexual if they do not repent:
And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries [the glorious ones or saints].
I believe most homosexuals are demon possessed (the demon controls the individuals personality and behavior). And these demons could be expelled if the individual seriously wants to rid himself or herself of homosexuality once for all. There are many cases proving this. Sadly, most homosexuals do not want to change because sexual immorality and deviant sexual behavior has become normalized among many sectors of our rebel society—homosexual behavior and practicing homosexuals have been accepted, even being professed by many as normal, even among professing Christians. Yes, professing (deceived) Christians also believe this. Many have turned from God, creating a tolerant god of their own imagination (not God of the Bible). This is idolatry. Believing the lie soothes their conscience. The world has become and will continue to become more and more depraved. God explains this in His Word. All have the ability to be healed by the Word of God, but most do not care for God nor want to be healed; they would rather live without God; because without God there is no conviction.
A human being is identified as "He" (male) or "She" (female). A human being is not an "it" or "they" or any other definition perverting a pronoun.
We are not being kind by lying. We are being unkind. We are kind when we tell others the truth. This also extends to telling children the truth. If we love, we tell the truth. If we cannot tell the truth (because the heathen will rage or the truth is not in us), we keep our mouths shut and we do not wear tee-shirts that are dishonest with messages that corrupt and exaggerate and manipulate lies as truth. Not knowing the truth by promoting the lie destroys many. It is one of the tricks of the devil.
Lying is not kindness; it is deception, hurtful and dishonest. Lying is a sin against a holy God. God hates a liar (Proverbs 6:17). Do you not know that Satan is the father of lies and there is no truth in him (John 8:44). He lies about everything. His deception is widespread among believers and unbelievers alike. When a person lies he or she gets into bed with the devil.
The Apostle James wrote:
Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whomever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God (James 4:4).
How many millions of professing Christians having bent to the world, and in doing so, having become adulterers to Christ. Christians are the Bride of Christ. He is the Bridegroom. We are to be devoted and committed to Christ as His Bride. James is saying we are adulterers if we are unfaithful to Jesus by behaving and believing the lies of this world.
Is what we wear giving a true message of who we are and what we believe? Or have we deceived ourselves? I wear a cross pin on my shirt and jacket lapel. Whenever I leave my house all whom I come in contact with will see this pin. I identify myself as a Christian. I belong to my Lord Jesus Christ. Who do you tell the world you identify with? Who do you belong too? And who are you ashamed of? Do you commend Jesus to others? If you call yourself a Christian and do not commend Him to others, you better take a good look at yourself in the mirror. Who do you belong to? Is it Christ or Satan? It is one or the other.
Jesus said:
If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. (John 15:18-19).
Does the world love you or does it hate you? Again, who do you belong to? Is it the world or Jesus?
In Galatians 5:22-23 we see the fruit of the Spirit:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
Kindness is the fifth fruit. But what is the first fruit? It is love. Love covers all the fruits. Love overcomes evil. It is the most important. "And now abide faith, hope, charity [love], these three; but the greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13). Faith is now, hope is the future, and love is heart and mind filled action now. "In a world where you cannot be anything, be love." Who is love? The Apostle John said in 1 John 4:8: "God is love." Love is but one of many of His attributes. We can be love. Love is kind. It is also gentle, and truthful, good and faithful. The Apostle Paul said it best in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7:
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
In verse 6 the Word of God says "[Love] does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth." There is no love from sin (lies and exaggeration), but love rejoices in the truth.
In the same office, over the reception desk, hangs a sign with the Word of God (the Fruit of the Spirit), but no Book name, chapter number or verse number is noted on the sign. Why is this? The sign maker is a theft. He has stolen the Word of God. Not giving credit to God for His Word is serious and an offense against God. And the principles in the office, posting the sign, perhaps not knowing the Word of God, are likewise guilty for not giving God the credit for His Word. The "Fruit of the Spirit" is noted in Galatians 5:22-23. A person who knows Scripture will know the words on the sign are from God's Word. But someone who does not know Scripture will believe the words are from man. This is deception. And it is wrong. It is stealing the Word of God, without giving God credit for that which is rightfully His.
Being kind is being truthful, being honest and sharing the truth with all in love.
Why not tell the truth: "In a world where you cannot be anything, be kind." Now this is the truth. We respect others by telling the truth. We show our contempt when we lie.
What about a tee shirt with a message of the truth: "In a world of evil, be kind."
Or "In a perverse world, be normal." Or "In a sinful world, be holy" Or "In a sinful world, be godly." How about: "In a world where you cannot be anything, be lovely." Or "In a world where you cannot be anything, be truthful."
"In a world where you cannot be anything, be a child of God." And forget all the nonsense and the lie. Stop wasting time with futile endeavors. Seek the truth. Cultivate the love of the Truth. And He will reveal it to you. "I [Jesus] am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me" (John 14:6).
