How Do We Pray for America?

My dear Friends,

It's good to be with you again.  Let's pray in Spirit and truth.

Heavenly Father,

Holy is your name.

We come to you this day by the authority of your wonderful Son, Jesus.

Isn't He lovely?  He is our Rock. We can do all things through Him who empowers us within.

The love you have shown us is immeasurable, by offering your Son to us.

We thank you Lord for your goodness, your holiness, your majesty, your faithfulness, your lovingkindness.

Your wisdom and power are beyond our imagination.

Blessed was the birth of Christ and blessed the Resurrection of Christ.  He is risen, your Son, our Brother, our Advocate to the Kingdom, our Lord, our God, our Savior, our Redeemer and our Love.

We thank you Father for sending Jesus, a heavenly spirit, becoming a man in this world, to take the punishment for our wickedness, our transgressions, our sins, for being the sacrificial lamb, the Lamb of God so that we might have communion with you; for we are incapable for saving ourselves.

We know that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, and that no one comes to You but through Him. And we know that you have given your only begotten Son so that we might have life eternal, and that truth be revealed to us.

We ask now O Father that you bring a great revival of the Holy Spirit to the world and particularly to America, to open the hearts of our leaders in government so they  might see the light, the truth and your glory. That all might repent, believe, follow and obey your commandments fervently.  That all, in truth, turn to You O Father and live not for themselves and for worldly pursuits;  but for You O Mighty God, that each will be born again of the Spirit.

Let us bring glory to You, O Father, as we proclaim the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You are the light of the world to bring men out of darkness, to mortify the evil in the hearts of men, and to deliver them into the arms of truth and love.

Deliver our leaders and nation out from darkness.

Let us bring glory to you Father.

In Jesus’ name we pray.  Amen.

Who was Jesus?

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God”  (John 3:16-18).

  • Throughout His thirty three years as a man He was sinless. No other person past, present or in the future will ever be sinless. He was 100 percent God and 100 percent man on earth, sent by God.

  • Jesus spoke to thousands who followed Him because no one spoke as he spoke or taught. He spoke with authority. His ministry was three years.

  • Jesus spoke to 5,000 men who followed Him. He fed 5,000 with a basket of bread [five loaves] and two fish.

  • In a short period of time He had five hundred disciples. The number grew to three thousand, then five thousand. They believed He was the Son of God.

  • Jesus did countless miracles that no one has ever done. He made the blind see, the crippled walk, raised the dead made. He turned water to wine and command an olive tree to die. He rebuked demons out of the possessed. He healed all.

  • He could make the wind and water obey His command. He turned sinners into saints.

  • He foretold his future and death and the future of mankind. Jesus never killed or harmed anyone.

  • He was crucified on the cross and rose from the dead three days later. He ascended to Heaven and He awaits us to join him. He will return soon.

  • He died so that we might live. To live, you must accept Him as your Lord and Savior, obey His commands and repent (turn) from your sins. Have faith.

Do you want to know God?  Do you want to be born again with the Spirit of God living in you?  Do you want to be a child of God?

If  you answered "YES!" to these questions go to the top menu and read the page "Trust Jesus."  Pray to God and express your desire to know Jesus, that you want to be born again and that you want the Holy Spirit to live in you, to be sealed in you.  Repent and believe. Have faith.  You cannot please God without faith; believing that Jesus died on the cross, shedding His blood for the world.  He rose from the dead three days later, ascending to Heaven, where He is now.  But only those who receive Him will be saved.
