A Special Prayer for President Donald J. Trump
A Prayer of Thankfulness
My dearly beloved in Christ,
This Sunday Message is focused on prayer. But, not the prayer lesson I had planned, which I will present next Sunday. Before we begin I want to express my thankfulness to the Lord for protecting President Trump from serious harm. I have prepared a prayer. Will you pray this prayer with me?
I received an email this morning from Pastor, Dr. Robert Jeffress. He wrote:
Of all the Presidents the United States has ever had, Donald Trump has been "a steadfast friend to Christians everywhere." I might add that President Trump is also a great friend of Israel and the Israeli people. Let us not forget in this time of accelerated evil, God raises up men, imperfect and flawed men, to do His work.
On Truth Social, after the attempted assassination, President Trump messaged:
Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers yesterday, as it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening. We will FEAR NOT, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of Wickedness. Our love goes out to the other victims and their families. We pray for the recovery of those who were wounded, and hold in our hearts the memory of the citizen who was so horribly killed. In this moment, it is more important than ever that we stand United, and show our True Character as Americans, remaining Strong and Determined, and not allowing Evil to Win. I truly love our Country, and love you all, and look forward to speaking to our Great Nation this week from Wisconsin.
Yes, it was "God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening." I believe God's plan for President Donald J. Trump is just beginning. Clearly in sight is a great revival, a great spiritual awakening, and it will begin in the United States under a man God has chosen. Sweet will be sweet again and evil will be known as evil again. A love for God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will return to this nation. Many are called, but few are chosen. He is "for such a time as this" (Esther 4:14).
On this Sunday and everyday may God the Father and Christ Jesus give you
grace, mercy and peace. And may the Lord bless you and keep you,
